Responsible for managing all aspects of SAP landscape, projects, and support processes at HollyFrontier. Established all IT governance, decision making processes, and business ownership of SAP system that went live in mid-2007. Manages team of over 30 business analysts and technical resources supporting SAP and other major business applications. Extensive SAP landscape includes FICO, SD, MM, TSW, HR, BW, BOBJ, BCS, BPS, EH&S, GRC, MII, Portal, Basis, Development, & Security. IT project manager for two refinery acquisitions in 2009 and merger with Frontier Oil in 2011. Invoiced out of SAP on day 1 of each project, despite extremely tight project timelines. Also led two successful weekend cutovers of refinery networks and infrastructure. Established IT governance model to define relationships between IT’s various constituent levels. Introduced financial metrics to rank competing priorities. Estalished business ownership for various SAP modules, objects, security roles, reports, etc. Led functional and technical teams for SAP hosting provider transition project in 2009. Also participated in partner selection and negotiations which would ultimately save company approximately $75,000 per month. Successful cutover despite timing coinciding with major acquisition go-live. Led IT effort for commercial reorganization project in 2010. Project established a single marketing and crude procurement entity for entire enterprise. Led multiple SAP EH&S Management projects to enhance company’s ability to track EH&S compliance tasks and associated reporting requirements. Delivered presentation at SAP SAPPHIRE in 2009 on Holly’s roll-out of SAP EH&S Management. Also manages support for other major business applications including Infor Datastream application, TRAFXS First Purchaser application, Zytax Excise Tax reporting system, and custom HOPS Refinery Yield Accounting Reporting system.
