Phalguna Ramaraju started his career in 1983, and has over 30 years of experience, with the last 25+ years of experience in Information Technology at various senior levels. He is a  Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Project Management Professional (PMP®), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).

He is passionate about promotion of Scrum and Agile awareness; worked as honorary trainer in Project Management, and served on the Board of the local PMI Chapter at Hyderabad (PMI-PCC) for two consecutive terms between 2007 & 2012; and retired as Secretary General after the end of  term in March 2012. Since 2012, he started conducting detailed Scrum workshops along with (PMI-ACP)® certification training.

All his IT experience includes standard software product development, customizations and localizations using project management practices. In the year 2005 he developed interest in eXtreme Programming practices when he attempted iterative & incremental models and had seen significant improvement in results. Since 2009, he started using Scrum along with XP practices & Lean principles in developing software applications on Salesforce cloud, as well .NET based applications.

Phalguna is currently a consulting freelance Agile | Scrum Coach. He coached large number of teams across the organization in helping them recognize the unique benefits of Scrum.

He is a Bachelor of Commerce from Andhra University with specialization in Costing (1982); with a post graduate diploma in Systems Management from NIIT (1991). He is certified 'Boundary Spanner' from Baan Business IT School, The Netherlands (1996).

Phalguna is uniquely positioned with skills ranging from “Coder to CEO”. He believes & loves in constantly enhancing knowledge & skills.

Designed and Developed administration tools to reduce the Application Administration work load. Designed, and implemented to make Desktops for users in Dynamic Enterprise Modeling. Project Manager / Engineer for Baan Project Package development which is a major module of Baan ERP VI. A certified 'Boundary Spanner' from Baan Business IT School, The Netherlands. Joined as Software Engineer. During this period received intensive training in BAAN Tools programming, Forms, Reports, Sessions, Database management, and extensive training on ERP functionality. Worked on changing the Baan ERP package from 3GL to 4GL-SQL, GUI standards, fixing defects, performance improvement, and converting the functions to DLLs. Played moderator / inspector’s role in Fagan Inspections of design, code, and involved in peer reviewing the code. The BAAN4 application programs are analyzed and converted to BAAN 5 version. During this time worked on various versions of the products, namely BAAN 4a, BAAN 4b, BAAN 4c and BAAN 5.
