My name is Lionel Champalaune.
After studying computer science with a speciality in image processing, my first job was to be a developer in a research team.
In 2004, at DxO Labs, a start up company I discovered the world of configuration management and continuous integration. I also worked in the quality team which allow me to be part of the entire process of a product.
In 2008, I joined Mediametrie. I was part of the development team as the build manager and the best practice referent. The company started to be in Agile in 2008 and I discovered that my role was important to facilitate the team works during sprint in scrum. Agile practice is now a part of my work and by reading agile article and meet external agile people I tried to gain experience for helping team (developer and tester) to work better and better.
Since 2013, I decided to work abroad. I'm workin at BBC Worldwide as a QA Automation tester. It's really interesting to see how Agile is applied regarding the country culture.
In my different experience I practice a lot of langage from C to Java including script language as perl with good capacity of adaptation. Currently I'm working in Ruby with cucumber.
I like the fact everything can be improve and every practice are not carved in stone.
People has to work together to find the (good) way to work better and I defined myself as the guy help them to find this way.
