John Ternent is an experienced management and technology consultant with over 20 years' experience in a variety of industries, functional areas, and technologies. As an experienced manager with Arthur Andersen, he worked on many innovative projects in areas such as distance learning, knowledge management, and balanced scorecard implementation. Subsequently, he worked as an architect and project manager for The Home Depot, where he worked with multiple teams to provide architectural and project management.
He relocated to the Orlando area in 2004 and worked with companies in the vacation ownership industry as director of applications architecture, responsible for technological innovation across all areas of the companies. He then had the opportunity to introduce an open source business intelligence software company to Scrum and Agile development, lead another set of Scrum teams developing SaaS software for hospitality, and has recently returned to consulting on analytics, agile development, and architecture.
