Gerd Schneider is a research associate at Heidelberg University Hospital. Besides research, he works as a Scrum Master and Scrum Coach within a research section focusing on medical informatics.
After studying business administration and computer science in Pforzheim and Karlsruhe, Germany, Gerd enjoyed being a software developer, software architect and project lead in applied research projects.
Gerd started to use Scrum back in 2009 while looking for better ways to organize team work in research-oriented projects. Since then he has been working in and with agile teams in the applied research domain.
