September 2008 - March 2014, Alva, Clackmannanshire, GB
Intimately involved in moving the Siebel Development team from Waterfall development to a Scrum based model. Worked on refining the initial task list into a viable Product Backlog for two distinct Scrum teams together with my Scrum Masters and dovetailed new Development work into the more fluid list of Support backlog items.
Attended Daily stand-ups (remotely) and ensured there was always a clear line of communication for Developers to seek clarification or ask questions.
Ran Sprint Reviews and Sprint Planning meetings at the end and start of each Sprint, reviewed and approved the work that had been carried out in each Sprint and discussed forthcoming backlog items. Challenged and explored Story Point estimates with the Development team in order to build confidence in their estimation skills. Lauded by other teams for how well the teams' estimation matched their velocity after only 3-4 Sprints.
Constantly reviewed the Backlogs to accommodate urgent customer fixes and react to changing business priorities while continually communicating with the Developers about how the shape of the backlog was evolving.
