Bill Hackenberg

Independent Prosci certified Change Management consultant and founder of Rauch & Hackenberg, LLC. Most recently consulted at DaVita Health Care Partners. Previously was on assignment from: Project Management Leadership Group, Cambridge Technology Partners, Xpedior, and Sage IT Partners.

Leadership Training (2015): Authored a new course for UCLA Extension based on four bestsellers. Bargaining case study simulation. Online training delivery via Apple iPad tablets.

Continuous Improvement (2014): engaged Capital Group IT executives in strategy formation.  This team planned launch of a Lean Six Sigma initiative. Aligned with ITIL principles and improved operational efficiency.

Solution Health Assessment (2013): produced architectural and technical recommendations. This was for for an Adobe CQ5 content management system and SalesForce.com implementation. Interactive heatmaps with Tableau.

Coaching and Mentoring (2012): mentor to resource managers. We improved resource efficiency and reduced overallocation. Coach to project managers to improve on time and on budget performance.

Business Reengineering (2010): implemented business process model standards. This enabled effective use of the ARIS tool. Created training materials to popularize usage. Precursors to workflow engine for customer support centers.

PMO Startup (2006): implemented resource capacity report at Toyota Motor Sales. Lead organization cultural shift in assigning resources to projects. Championed effort-based scheduling.

Quality Mgmt Process Startup (2005): initiated QM training for 80 associates. Championed quality planning, how projects are going to deliver quality. Authored quality management process book. 

Business Requirements Initiative (2004): authored and delivered Business Requirements practice, “Imagine, Define, Solidify.” Recruited several business system analysts and performed on-boarding.

Project Mgmt Process Startup (2003): initiated PM training program. This led to over 250 Countrywide associates completing college-level courses with UCLA Extension. Authored PM process book.
