Alida Cheung is an Agile Coach at Workday. Before joining Workday, she was the Director of Agile Delivery at Jasper, which powers the internet of things across more than 2,000 enterprises and millions of devices across the globe. At Jasper, Alida was the ScrumMaster for the Executive Scrum Team and was responsible for the Agile transformation of Jasper's Engineering team. At Salesforce.com, Alida was one of the first ScrumMasters and a key member of Salesforce.com's Agile Rollout Team during it's R&D organizations enterprise-wide “big bang” transformation to agile. Since then she has worked with over a dozen Scrum teams with different characteristics and challenges, designed training material, provided professional coaching, and is working on ensuring the continuous success of agile in the organization. Alida is a PMP and CSP with a wealth of experience to compare and contrast the two methodologies. She holds a M.Sc. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a B. Comm. from the University of Alberta. She was a speaker at Agile2012 and 2010, and a Stage Producer for Agile 2010 (Organization and Enterprises) and 2009 (Leadership and Teams). She also spoke at the Grace Hopper Celebration in 2012, 2013, and 2014, on ScrumMaster excellence and successful practices, as well as influencing without authority.
