Submit an Article to Agile Matters

Thank you for your interest in submitting an article

The Practitioner Team is passionate about delivering valuable article content and we appreciate you sharing your voice and expertise with the greater agile community. 

We are currently collecting articles from the Scrum Alliance Guides community, which includes Certified Scrum Trainers and Certified Agile Coaches.

Your article may be posted to Agile Matters and shared on our social media accounts.

The article should

  • Have a learning objective and tell a story
  • Adhere to the Scrum Alliance Code of Ethics
  • Be copy-edited. Please make sure that articles are reviewed for spelling and grammar prior to submission

The article shouldn't

  • Contain more than three external URLs 
  • Not be used as a public relations or marketing tool
  • Be written or created by someone other than the person(s) submitting

Article formatting

  • Title: should be appropriate and informative, with each word capitalized
  • Subtitle: one-liner sharing more information about the article content
  • Author information: provide your full name and a brief biography, along with contact information (e.g. email, LinkedIn, website)
  • Word limit of 1,500

Article images

  • Attach a photo with copyright sharing permission to be used as a banner for your article (optimal size is 1920x1080 pixels) 
  • Attach a hi-res photo of yourself to be used with the author bio

Submitting your article

  • Send your article and attached images to teampractitioner@scrumalliance.org with the subject line “Agile Matters Article”
  • Articles should be submitted in editable Microsoft Word format in American English

Please Note

Our team will review each submission and retain ultimate control over 1) acceptance of the submission itself; and 2) the presentation of the final published work. Scrum Alliance may share your article on social media accounts, email campaigns, and newsletters. You may submit more than one article.
