Global Scrum GatheringSM Lisbon Review Team Charter

Introduction

Scrum Alliance volunteer teams offer members worldwide the opportunity to come together to share their passion and knowledge about Agile and Scrum practices. The Global Scrum GatheringSM Review Team works in collaboration with the European Gathering Team (EUGT) and Scrum Alliance staff to virtually review abstract submissions for Global Scrum GatheringSM Lisbon (SGLIS20).

Overview

The Global Scrum Gathering Review Team will review and score abstract submissions for Global Scrum GatheringSM Lisbon. The sessions scored by the team will be used to create the Lisbon Gathering program (selected by the EUGT), under the five (5) core themes of SGLIS20. The final program will engage practitioners through high-quality learning experiences, exclusive opportunites, and innovative event elements.

Team Membership

The Gathering Review Team consists of members of the Scrum Alliance community divided across five (5) theme review teams. The selection of team members is based (in part) on subject-matter expertise (SME), along with balanced representation of the Scrum Alliance community. Selection criteria may include diversity considerations such as geography, experience, and industry.

Responsibilites

Team members will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and are expected to abide by the agreement and Scrum Alliance code of conduct, as well as the working agreement designed by their designated theme review team.

Time Commitment

Team members can expect to spend approximately 8-10 hours per week to review sumbissions during the review period of 19 February to 12 March.

Compensation

All reviewers who meet the minimum required number of reviews will receive $100 USD off their Global Scrum GatheringSM Lisbon registration and are eligible to submit Scrum Education Units (SEUs) toward certification renewal. Reviewers are eligible for one (1) SEU per one (1) hour of review time.
