General instructions for completing the REP Application

The Scrum Alliance REP® program is designed to authorize certain well-qualified businesses and instructors to offer and instruct Scrum Alliance Continuing Education and Certified Scrum Developer® (CSD®) courses. Applicants will be authorized as REPs upon (1) successful completion of this application; (2) successful approval of business, course, and trainer reviews; and (3) signing and submitting the corresponding current form of the Scrum Alliance REP Agreement.

The requirements and instructions outlined in the applications will guide you through the process of submitting proper documentation to be considered a Registered Education Provider. The completed application and all corresponding documentation will be treated as confidential and distributed to Scrum Alliance-authorized reviewers only.

Fees

Upon approval of your REP application, you will be provided with the REP Agreement and an invoice based on the following fees:

Annual Provider Fee

  • The $1,000 annual provider fee is due upon approval as a Scrum Alliance Registered Education Provider (REP) and will be prorated for the remainder of the year.
  • The nonrefundable annual provider fee is due by January 31 of each year.
  • The annual provider fee is waived for Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs), as it is considered covered under the annual CST certification fee.

Student Transaction Fees
Nonrefundable transaction fees are applicable upon teaching courses and apply to all students uploaded to the Scrum Alliance website, as outlined below. Scrum Alliance Scrum Education Units® (SEUs) will be recorded upon student upload and payment.

  • CSD* Student Course Fee: $25.00 (U.S.) per student/per day
  • Continuing Education* Student Course Fee: There is currently NO student fee for Continuing Education courses.

*Please note that regardless of student fees, the loading of students is mandatory for each and every course that you list on the Scrum Alliance website. Continuing Education and CSD courses offered by our REP partners are a valuable means for our members to attain Scrum Education Units® (SEUs), which can only be claimed if a student has been loaded into our system.

Fees quoted above are based on the pricing structure effective as of January 1, 2016, and are subject to change.
