Unharnessed, our strengths can become our weaknesses; our best traits can become our traps.
Doing Scrum is easy. Mastering Scrum is hard. Effectively scaling Scrum, no matter what people tell you, has so far been elusive. It turns out that a lot of the factors that need cultivating in order to support the development of an Agile culture are the very same ones that we need to master in ourselves in order to be personally successful.
In this talk, Geoff Watts will focus on some of the characteristics required at the individual and organisational level in order to fully& grasp and make the most of Scrum.
Geoff Watts is one of the most experienced Certified Scrum Trainers and Certified Scrum Coaches in the world and authored the hugely popular book Scrum Mastery: From Good to Great Servant-Leadership. Geoff is also a leadership and executive coach and is a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists and the Association for Business Psychology. His new book, The Coach's Casebook: Mastering the Twelve Traits That Trap Us will be out in February.
This event will begin at 6:30 p.m.
