Agile Coach Camp Canada 2014

  • Event
Agile Coach Camp Canada is an open-space conference inspired by the original Agile Coach Camp, now in its fifth year in Canada. Guelph is excited to host Agile Coach Camp Canada on June 6-8, 2014. This is a practitioner-run conference for peer-to-peer learning, exploration, and networking. The sessions are planned collaboratively with the participants, which is why there is no pre-set agenda for sessions or speakers.
    • Friday night -- a social event organized for attendees to interact, learn, and get to know each other.  It includes interactive team challenges and games to invite everyone to be part of the greater community of participants.
    • Saturday all day -- involves all participants to conduct a series of parallel sessions addressing current Agile/Scrum/XP/Lean topics in an open-space setting. This will include an "Un"keynote where attendees can experience Agile through interactive games, lightning talks, and interactive Agile learning sessions.  This is an exceptional opportunity for Agile leaders to collaborate and learn from each other.
    • Sunday morning -- a wrap-up of the Agile Coach Camp that involves attendees retrospecting on the event and looking toward the future.
    Target audience
This event is intended for individuals wanting to learn about the application of agility in software development: XP coaches, ScrumMasters, trainers, change agents, mentors, product owners. The attendees are composed of professionals and practitioners working within IT, banking, insurance, government and high-tech industries. We are planning for 100 attendees.
