Speaker Compensation Policy

We are pleased to offer the following compensation to the Primary Speaker associated with an accepted session:

  • 15-Minutes: One (1) Complimentary Registration 
  • 30-Minutes: One (1) Complimentary Registration + one (1) night accommodation at the conference hotel
  • 75-Minutes: One (1) Complimentary Registration + two (2) nights accommodation at the conference hotel

We do not offer splitting or transferring compensation to additional presenters. You are welcome to have additional speaker(s) assist; however, they will not receive any compensation and will be responsible for paying the registration fee.

*Hotel compensation is valid for single occupancy only at the Austria Trend Hotel Messe Prater Wien


Session Set-up, Supplies, and Support

Based on room capacity, each room will be set with full rounds or rounds mixed with theatre style. Stay tuned for more information on specific room sizes and capacities. Each room will include the following equipment:

  • (2) Wireless lapel microphones and audio capabilities
  • Data projector and screen
  • Wireless Internet
  • (1) Flipchart and paper pad
  • Markers and Post-it® notes


If required for your presentation, please bring your own laptop and appropriate adaptor to avoid software or hardware compatibility issues. Scrum Alliance will not be providing these items.

Session Support
We’ll have a volunteer room monitor at each session to welcome attendees, manage the room, time-box the session, etc. Limited, additional supplies are available by checking in with the Scrum Squad volunteers at the Speaker Resource Shop (TBD).
