Scrum is a light-weight project management framework that has been successfully used for more than 10 years in the area of software and product development. Scrum supports the application of lean and agile principles with the objective of quickly and flexibly reacting to changed requirements whilst delivering high quality and improved return on investment.
The role of product owner in Scrum is different to that of a project manager in a traditionally organised project. She defines the priorities in terms of scope and focus of the project. She is responsible for the success of the project, for collecting requirements from other stake holders and should be available to answer the team’s questions on a just-in-time basis.

To understand the responsibilities of the product owner and to learn how to introduce Scrum into your environment. The course aims to deepen your understanding of the principles and practices of Scrum. It shows the pre-requisites and changes that are necessary to be able to practice Scrum successfully in your organisation.

Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner® courses focus on Scrum from a product owner's perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO courses are taught by Trainers approved by the Scrum Alliance.
