Agile software development increases the productivity and quality of the software development and decreases its risks by improving personal collaboration between the people. Scrum is an iterative, incremental framework for developing any product or managing any work. It allows teams to deliver a potentially shippable set of functionality every iteration, providing the agility needed to respond to rapidly changing requirements.

The Scrum framework constantly challenges its users to focus on improvement, and its Sprints provide the stability to address the ever-changing needs that occur in any project. This has led to Scrum becoming the most popular method in the world of agile software development.

Scrum Product Owners are in charge of building a system, creating a new product release, or any other complex business project. After the course the participants are familiar with the thinking and the framework of Scrum so that they can start their work as Scrum Product Owners. After successful completion of the course and the exam each participant will be designated a Certified Scrum Product Owner. The certification includes a one-year membership in the Scrum Alliance.

Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner® courses focus on Scrum from a product owner's perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO courses are taught by Trainers approved by the Scrum Alliance.
