Understand and apply an agile framework for project management – Scrum. This course allows delegates to gain an appreciation of the Scrum framework and how to apply it in their own context. A varied mix of both theory and practical exercises, makes this a popular choice for clients wishing to start a more agile journey towards a high-quality and frequent delivery structure.. This course is aimed at all members of a delivery team, and will introduce the roles and responsibilities within an effective Scrum team.

Feedback from my most recent courses:

"Probably the best course I have ever attended - informative, interactive, really got me thinking and I went away with some new great ideas." - Judy Knight, Product Manager

“I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 day Scrum Master Certification with Paul. By the end of it I felt confident in my knowledge and satisfied with the training. I've already recommended other would be Scrum Masters attend his certification course.” - James Scrimshire,

“Having recently attending a course run by Paul, I would recommend him to anyone seeking a effective Scrum trainer. Paul manages to successfully combine a deep understanding of the principles of Scrum, together with a creative and practical training style.” - Nathan Cox, OviMusic, Nokia

"Very knowledgeable, excellent real life examples to back up the theory, clear communications and instructions." - Andrew Rodliffe

“Paul was my trainer when I took my CSM (certified scrum master) course here in Nokia. I learnt a lot from the activities. The course was dynamic and entertaining (not a dull moment!). It made me realise by doing the activities how a scrum works and delivers. After it I had a very good understanding about agile and the scrum that I have already put in practise with my scrum team and I reckon Paul is a good communicator and gets the main points across not only by explaining but also by making the trainee think and realise about the facts by doing the activities. I would definitely recommend Paul as a trainer.” - Llanos Nuñez, Software Configuration Management, Ovi Music, Nokia

"Paul was excellent, very knowledgeable, experienced and easy to understand. The course was simple to understand, had plenty of activity and exercises to help make it real."

    - Chaminda Ranasinghe, Head of eCommerce, Aviva

All CSM courses are taught by Trainers approved by the Scrum Alliance. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
