The Scaling with Agile Workshop is standalone, for 1 day.
We recommend that you take this Workshop after you have a CSM or CSPO. Although anyone may attend.
This 1 day workshop will provide an overview and in-depth introduction to Agile Scaling. Within the confines of 1 day. In this workshop, we will explore how to scale Agile from a single team to a large organization (several thousand people). The course will be tailored to the specific questions, situations, and needs of the attendees. We will take real specific issues, and try to work out the best approach for you.
Additional benefits: The Workshop provides 7 PDUs. And provides 7 SEUs toward the Scrum Alliance CSP (Certified Scrum Professional).
- Introduction to Agile Scaling
- Applying Scaling to the Scrum Cycle
- Implementing a Chief Product Owner & Product Owner group
- Creating a single Product Backlog & synchronizing iterations
- Scrum of Scrums
- Techniques for optimizing geographically distributed teams
- Scaling Impediment Removal
- Scaling Patterns in the ScrumPLOP
- Overview of Scaled Agile models including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) & Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) & Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD)
After these basics, we will take specific situations from the attendees, and devise reasonable solutions for them. It is in fact to this section that we will devote the most time. For each proposed solution, we will also discuss its pros and cons, and how you might get it implemented.
The 7 SEUs associated with the Workshop may be used toward the requirements of the CSP certification (Certified Scrum Professional).
