We suggest you fully immerse in the retreat vibe and the ease of being "there" and being focused by commiting to stay in Lodging at the retreat center. Note: if you want a room on your own, you'll have to pay for it.
About the Retreat Center
The Essex center's property is a setting that is both refreshing and relaxing to your spirit. The center is set on eighteen private acres surrounded by 250 acres of conservation land. A waterfall and lily covered pond provide a focal point for outdoor activities. The center's beautifully landscaped grounds are punctuated by unique sculptures and artistic treasures tucked away in unexpected places. Essex Bay is only one mile from the center and there are other well maintained walking trails available.
While we feel you will be pleased with the accommodations, we want to make sure that you know this is a rustic retreat center - not a spa. A place to think and breathe in nature, eat wholesome food, and a chance to get to know your fellow students by sharing two to a room and four to a bathroom.
