Kanban Introduction is a full day course covering the key elements of Kanban, the values and principles that underpin it and includes a fully immersive Kanban simulation using Lego.  Attendance at this course will give you a solid foundation to begin your Kanban implementation.

The Agile Mindset builds all of its courses using accelerated learning techniques and uses the 4C’s (Connections, Concepts, Concrete Practice, Conclusions) instructional design and delivery process that involves learners every step of the way in all of its courses.  These techniques are proven to keep attendees engaged throughout the course and offer the best opportunity for the attendees to learn, experience, and retain what is taught in each class.

As such this is a highly interactive course that gives you the best opportunity to really learn and understand the subject matter.

8 Scrum Education Units (SEU's) can be claimed for this course and used as part of your Certified Scrum Professional application.  See the CSP application process for more details.

Whilst this is not a Lean-Kanban University Accredited course you will have the additional benefit of being trained by an Accredited Kanban Trainer who has been approved by the Lean-Kanban University so you can be assured that you will receive quality Kanban Training.

    About your trainer

Tom Reynolds is a passionate, self driven, energetic Agile Coach and qualified Trainer; Change Agent and Scrum Master based in the UK with 25 years’ experience in IT and a proven track record of success delivering scalable, enterprise software to major blue chip clients and a proven ability to guide teams and organisations in their journey in agile adoption.

Using Scrum, Kanban and other Agile practices Tom works with teams and organisations to create a trustful environment to help build the correct software solution the right way.

Tom believes that to be truly agile it is far more than just adopting a particular framework or process. You need to open your mind and free your spirit, you have to wholeheartedly embrace change, inspect and adapt everything you do, and be prepared to try and fail on the way to your goal. You must embrace your teams, trust them completely to get the job done, and create an inclusive environment that fosters trust, courage and transparency, whilst maintaining a sustainable pace at which they can work. You must fully adopt an agile mindset and only by doing this can you hope to become truly agile.

With 25 years’ experience in IT; working within the financial services industry, leading software houses and with high street retailers such as The Arcadia Group, Waitrose, Grand Vision and Clas Ohlson amongst others, Tom has vast experience to bring to your training.
