Tim Wise is an Enterprise Agile Coach, speaker, and avid Agile practitioner. He grew up in large, corporate America and start-ups programming on multiple technology stacks with a recent focus on .Net. Although Tim honed his skills in development shops, he never saw IT as being isolated from solving real business problems. As such, Tim’s passion emerged around the visualization of businesses as interdependent disciplines where sales, marketing, IT all wove successful stories together. Tim has introduced and coached Scrum and Kanban at several companies, and has taught both approaches to hundreds in a classroom environment. A champion of positive organizational change, Tim seeks to introduce change iteratively to large organizations to align businesses around common goals, impact the lives of people, and improve the outcomes of organizations. Tim is sought for his strategy, coaching, and development abilities. He has served in Healthcare, Staffing, Retail, and Media industries. Tim also runs the Atlanta Scrum community which hosts a variety of speakers at www.scrumatlanta.org.
LeadingAgile LLC, Enterprise Agile Coach
September 2013 - Present, Alpharetta, GA, US
I serve large organizations (currently a top 20 private company in the US) by performing agile transformations.
I start with an assessment of the organization to establish a governance, value delivery structure and metrics for success. I then form teams by teaching them scrum and kanban. After that we guide the culture of the teams to embody agile principles while assessing them every month for progress. After they have matured, I move on throughout the organization.
I currently coach 5 scrum teams on a rotating basis on lean-agile principles. All of my delivery teams currently use scrum.
Additionally I speak around the area and organize the Atlanta scrum users group for the community. I blog on a pretty (semi?) regular basis.
