Teresa (Thomas) Weeks -
Current position is Agile Coach for Research and Development/Information Technology organization at Change Healthcare. In this role, I develop training modules, develop the Coaching Lifecycle, conduct assessments, provide Agile and Scrum training, provide Leadership guidance, and coach team members regarding the methodology and their specific roles. This is a fairly new organization within the company, which is providing Agile Coach services for teams within the legacy ChangeHealthcare company and will expand to provide those services for new teams joining the company as part of a recent merger.
Prior to joining the Agile Coaching Office, I was Agile Coach for the Revenue Cycle Management Tech organization within R&D/IT. In that role, I worked with multiple teams to provide Agile and Scrum training and guidance, including role coaching. This work involved representatives from Product, IT Management, Development (onshore and offshore, FTE and Contract), and Quality Engineers. At the same time, I was Scrum Master for two teams in RCM Tech, facilitating all ceremonies and training the team members as they transitioned from waterfall to Scrum and from a legacy documentation and tracking system to use of Atlassian Tools.
Prior to becoming the Agile Coach for the RCM Tech organization, I was a dedicated Scrum Master for a team within RCM Tech. In that role, I worked with Product (Solution Owner and Business Analysts), Development, and QA to train and mentor them in Agile methodology and Atlassian Tools. I also assisted the Team in selecting the best methodology to follow (Scrum, Scrumban, or Kanban) by providing results of research to the team. I regularly meet with fellow Scrum Masters to discuss best practices and suggestions for improving the Agile environment within Emdeon.
My previous position was as Scrum Master/Project Manager for Connected Services with Nissan NA. In that role, I provided daily oversight for multiple projects, including securing funding and defining requirements/User Stories. I also acted as a source of information for members of management as they researched and began conversion of IT from a waterfall Project Management environment into an Agile/Scrum environment.
Prior position was as a Scrum Master and Project Analyst for multiple projects with Infinity Insurance. In that role, I researched and implemented the Agile/Scrum methodology within the mainframe, client/server, and infrastructure teams. I coached multiple teams and fellow Scrum Masters in the methodology and best practices related to Agile/Scrum, researched and arranged training for members of IT management and Project Management, coached the user communities in Agile/Scrum (Product Owners and Business Analysts).
Current Agile/Scrum/PM certifications include ACP, CSM, PMP.
