Quality Assurance Manager for WiMP, a music streaming service that allows instant listening to specific tracks or albums on desktop, mobile and other devices.
Although I’m Norwegian, my QA career started in Opera Software’s Tokyo office where I first worked as a QA Engineer and later was promoted to Test Manager. In Tokyo I worked closely with customers like Nintendo (Nintendo DSi and Wii) and KDDI where we delivered custom made versions of the Opera web browser for mobile phones from OEM’s like SonyEricsson, Panasonic, Casio, Hitachi, Sharp, Toshiba, Sanyo and Kyocera.
At the end of 2008 I moved back to Norway and was promoted to be a QA Controller (Coordinator). Together with other Engineering controllers, we established a Project Assistance and Control (PAC) team. The team functioned as a Quality Assurance and advisory team for Opera’s customer delivery process (see CV for details).
The first half of 2011 I worked as a Project Manager in a company called 99X with a scrum-based web application project with a team based in Sri Lanka. Then since June 2011, my current job.
