United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS): Salesforce Enterprise Implementation Project Project Manager and Business Analyst PM and BA involved in the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management tool across several business units within USCIS. • Oversees a sub-contracted Platinum Salesforce integrator team of 13. • Conducts functional and regression testing and prepares testing documentation. • Coordinates User Acceptance Testing with multiple Product Owners. • Works closely with client program management to track project status. The Carlyle Group: Data Improvement Project Kanban Master Kanban Master involved in the initiative to improve the data quality of systems that provide Carlyle investors with access to financial documents. • Works with a dispersed team to coordinate analysis, development, testing, and product shipment. • Grooms product backlog, measures cycle time, and identifies and removes impediments to the workflow. • Conducts Kanban ceremonies in accordance with agile methodologies. • Works closely with client program management to track project status. • Performs testing of Salesforce integrations with downstream systems. Office of Personnel Management (OPM): Retirement Data (RD) Initiative Project Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master Project Manager overseeing the integration of mission-critical OPM systems with a custom software application for which Sherman also served as requirements analyst. • Acted as Scrum Master to organize, monitor, and facilitate the completion of team tasks using Agile methods. • Analyzed the Guide to Retirement Data Reporting (GRDR) and the GRDR file submission schema to develop screen concepts for the Retirement Data Viewer (RDV) – the application used to view GRDR-compliant retirement data submissions from agencies and shared service centers. • Worked with OPM retirement experts to refine the RDV. • Created functional specifications used in the development of the Retirement Data Viewer application. • Prepared test scripts for instrumentation into automated acceptance test scripts. • Prepared manual test scripts and conducted user acceptance testing. • Acted as Project Manager and Lead Business Analyst on the Data Viewer Enhancements (DVE) project, an effort to integrate the RDV with other mission-critical OPM retirement systems. Office of Personnel Management (OPM): Retirement Systems Modernization (RSM) Initiative Project Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master • Collaborated with OPM retirement experts to produce technical overviews and an updated inventory of reports and interfaces for legacy systems used to calculate retirement benefits. • Documented current-state calculation requirements for the computation of retired employees' annuities in preparation for legacy systems modernization.
