Certified Scrum Product Owner

Greetings! My name is Joseph Scott Lopez. I've had the fortunate opportunity to have an education and work in a field that I am deeply passionate about. My journey began with studying Computer Science at St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Post-graduation, I created job specific training modules for Sea Island Shrimp House, which introduced me to audio and video editing. I later worked for Capital Group Companies working and learning so much about the business aspects before moving to IT as a Level 2 Support Analyst. I soon discovered my passion was code development and had the opportunity to move in that job role while learning various software methodologies such as: Waterfall and RUP. I also had the opportunity to learn and Practice Agile, specifically Scrum and Kanban. Shortly after this introduction, I felt I could contribute so much more by working closely with the business as a Business Systems Analyst. I also had the opportunity to work as the teams' ScrumMaster and at one point a Product Owner. I am truly grateful for having so many opportunities to learn the Agile philosophy and working with outstanding teammates that helped me mature as a professional and more importantly, a person.
