Support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Solutions Integration Division (CIO-2B) and the Division of Application Operations (CIO-1) by supporting government leadership to oversee integration, operations and maintenance of DoDIIS Messaging systems including, processes, plans, policies, and procedures in support the CIO mission. Provide coordination and status reporting between government and contract vendors in relation to ongoing software development, operations and maintenance, and future support for DoDIIS Messaging Applications. Support the integration and migration of new messaging technologies by planning and managing all support tasks to ensure smooth transition of new messaging capabilities into the integrated DoDIIS SOA network supporting customers both in the National Capital Region and remotely in the United States and overseas following the Service Delivery Standard (SDS) process for Agile Software Development. Represent CIO-2B Message Support at internal and external DoD/IC (Intelligence Community) meetings, conferences, working groups, tiger teams, and technical exchange meetings as related to application support topics.
Key deliverables are Automated Software Development Systems (ASDS) process and documents, Monthly/Weekly Status Reports and News items, Operational Plans, Project Schedules, Briefings or position papers as needed, Analysis of Alternatives, Trip Reports, and Meeting Facilitation and Meeting Minutes. Coordination with Vendor Groups at the Technical and Contract Administrative Level to ensure constant communications of requirements, identification of issues and risks, documentation and other key deliverables crucial for vendor provided solutions.
