Rachel Warrington, started out as an Economist and quickly discovered the joys of computers for giving you vital information. Joined Compex Ltd in 1984 as a Help Desk operator on ICL System 25s (anyone else out there old enough to remember those?) Did loads of different things, but ended up testing as I'm a big critic and always able to find things that are wrong. Moved to Respond in 1997 as their first independent tester and progressed the function and department before leaving to a team of 7 and a job title of Director of Quality (very grand!). Following redundancy, made the move over to Cambridge and was at i2 from 2003 to 2001 fighting the good testing fight. and moving teams over to Agile. Spent the next 3 years working for Capita SIMS as Senior Test Manager. I joined EMIS Health in 2015 working across the Primary Care department, guiding and coaching in exploratory and rapid testing, but mainly in Scrum. I am also Scrum Master for one of the 30 teams. I'm a total convert!
