As an Agile Manager I have been a driving part of moving teams away from traditional ‘Waterfall’ practises to leaner and Agile ways of working. I helped introduce and reinforce quality User Stories and acceptance Criteria for my teams and worked with Product Owners to ensure we had prioritised backlogs. Operating as Senior Art Producer I was responsible for the planning, tracking and end to end delivery of Driveclub’s digital art content and external vendor (Outsource). I was Scrum Master and Lead Producer for at least 6 highly specialised teams who formed the main crux of a complex Management Matrix. As a Project Manager I worked closely with the Team Leads and Art Director to reduce waste, identify risks and improve our communication, development and delivery processes via Agile Methods. In a short space of time we took a project that was running late and was potentially over scoped and overly ambitious to a lean achievable plan with consistently successful milestones and confidence building progress. We used our significant Outsource budget ($5M +) to de risk internal Production issues and maintain a healthy development velocity. The processes and structures I put in place ensured that we had minimal impediments to production and clear tangible software deliverables. Driveclub has been lauded for it’s consistent visual excellence and wide scope

Operating as Creative Producer my primary focus was to instigate change into how we as business design, develop and deliver our Front End (GUI) and ultimately build a contemporary scalable UX for PlayStation 4 game services. In order to help bring in change I contracted the help of ex Sony staff who setup an agency in Leicester called BULB and a local Mobile company called 3Byte. BULB worked with the UX, Graphic Design and GUI coding teams to cross pollinate processes and methods such as Paper Prototyping and Wireframe Tools such as Balsamic and Axure. It was during this time the team received formal Product Owner training from the Scrum Alliance to help bring about more effective change within the Project and Studio Environment. To supplement the UX development we built an ‘in house’ UX facility that was extensively during project development for feedback and review sessions. During this time I was also scrum master for Video Production Team, and dealt exclusively with Sony Marketing, Publishing and Business Development Teams.
