Early 2001 I first encountered Extreme Programming. Until 2007 I didn't know it was part of the Agile eco-system. In 2007 I first heard of Scrum and a year later I participated a Scrummaster course provided by Jef Sutherland, one of the founding fathers of Scrum. After the course I started with Scrum exactly at 1-2-2009. As a fresh Scrummaster I learned a lot. Soon I was responsible to coach my collegeas as we decided to adopt Scrum company wide. Ans things went on when I was asked to coach some customers and whole new teams. Till today I enjoy using Scrum, although my role has changed from Scrummaster to business unit manager.
