Biography

I was most recently employed with Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE), LLC based in Nashville, TN working on the TennCare account. HPE is a leading Medicare contractor in the government sector. I have extensive experience in Information Technology (IT), Iterative development lifecycles, Business Analysis and Process Improvement, as well as Project Management. In my role as a Sr. Project Manager (the official title was Project/Program Manager III), I enjoyed the responsibility of leading medium too large multi-million dollar complex projects from conception to delivery for an enterprise of close to 1000 employees. I believe that my strong background in IT, Medicare, Health, Life, and Long Term Care insurance, combined with my extensive experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing a variety of projects, makes me ideally suited for this role. I am highly organized and self-motivated. I have excellent communication skills, and thrive in high-pressure environments. Additionally, I am a solid team player. I am well versed in working to tight deadlines and have plenty of initiative. I possess a Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, a ScrumMaster Certification from the Scrum Alliance (5/30/2008), and I have been a member the internationally recognized Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2000. I am proficient using PM software such as Microsoft Project. I have effectively used sound industry recognized project management methodologies for project scheduling, issue tracking, and resource management. My goal is to continue learning and developing my expertise in project management, management, and strategic planning in my future role. I believe that I would be a perfect fit and that this is a role in which I could both grow and play to my strengths.
