In 1997, Johnson was cast as the first ever Event Marketing Manager for Best Buy charged to open the event marketing business channel for the company across the nation. During her years at Best Buy, she designed product launches campaigns, produced company sponsored promotions and events to increase brand awareness and sales, while ensuring organizational best practices. Johnsons’ previous experience in producing large-scale consumer entertainment events for the University of Minnesota and MN Department of Tourism was blended with her technology marketing roots. She spent more than six years as the top sales producer in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market selling UNIX and Novell based technology.
Since then, Johnson has continuously delivered brand goals, developed and produced marketing campaigns, communications tools and social media content, providing forward thinking to maximize and extend Return on Investment. Certified Final Cut Pro video editor blended with her Web Design Certification, she proudly follows agile practices to produce campaigns, programs & events of all sizes within budgets from shoestring to multimillions.
