I'm curious and goal oriented person. I have background of (web) software development and I have more than ten years' experience of software project management. In project management I'm interested in using agile methods. I've used everything from almost pure Scrum to quite a much modified version of it. I constantly keep developing the process being used to achieve the best possible performance and to match project environment. For example in distributed projects it is not always possible to follow all Scrum rules but we have to adjust them to fit the global environment. I've worked as Scrum Master or Product Owner in several projects.
I'm currently doing my doctoral theses of managing agile, distributed software projects. My first article is "Distributed Scrum when Turning into Maintenance : A Single Case Study" and in next step I'll continue to study how agile methods can be used on software maintenance. Another aspect that I'm studying is having agile projects in distributed environment and in multi projects environment.
