Mauricio Asuar is a Software Architect and Scrum Master specialized in Microsoft Technologies. He worked as a software developer and team leader before embracing Agile Development as Certified Scrum Master in 2010. After his first agile project, he become interested in Agile values applied to almost everything, always pursuing high-performing adaptative environments through a focus on leadership and agility. He develops himself in defense systems, working along with spanish DoD and Airbus Military. Right now he is trying at the videogames world, leading the R&D Localization Team at Electronic Arts (International Development Services) in Madrid.

In charge of R&D Localization Team at Madrid office, developing tools to support game
localization teams. Split into Scrum Master, Software Architect, and Technical Lead in a
team sized between 6 and 10 developers. I keep my hands on the keyboard, booking part
of my time for pure development.
I am also one of the responsible of integrating agile frameworks in the engineering
department at EA’s International Development Services, being part of the Steering
Committee, and reporting directly to the Technical Director of EA’s IDS. I assist different
Product Owners and Business Analysts regarding agile processes.
