Joanna Zweig, born in Paterson, New Jersey, USA, and grew up near New York City. She attended University of Pittsburgh where she majored in Math and Music, holds an M A from San Francisco, CA and a PhD in Learning and Change in Groups from CIIS in San Francisco, CA. She is passionate about Group Coherence, an energetic shift in a group when its emergence takes place. She researched this topic for her dissertation. She and Cesar presented a workshop on Group Coherence at Agile 2009 and aponsored an Agile field track for Q-Con SF 2012. She has cowritten (with Priya Marsonia and Cesar Idrovo) two executive reports in the Agile practice for Cutter Institute, published in 2011 and 2013,She served on the coordinating committee of Bay APLN and Agile Open Northern CA 2008-2013. She is currently Scrum Master and PMO for Moordy's Analytics and has a long history of software development with teams in large companies.
