Julie Yack is one of the founding partners of Colorado Technology Consultants, Inc (www.coloradotc.com) and currently serves as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. CTC provides custom software solutions for medium to large Fortune 500 companies, based on the .NET platform. Julie is a Microsoft CRM 3.0 Certified Professional, Microsoft Small Business Specialist and a Certified Scrum Master.
Julie is one of the founders of SouthColorado.NET, a user group focused on improving the knowledge base of .NET developers (www.southcolorado.net). SouthColorado.NET is a member of INETA (www.ineta.org). Julie serves as the INETA membership mentor for a 4-state region and strives to help the developer community wherever possible. Because of her involvement in the developer community, she has been named a Community Insider in the Microsoft Community.
Julie regularly volunteers her time to teach basic computer skills to women in transition at the Colorado Springs Women's Resource Agency.
Julie is active in the local business community. She is a member of The Pikes Peak Business and Professional Women’s Organization and serves on the membership committee for the National BPW organization. Julie is also a quarterly contributor to the Colorado Business Leaders Confidence Index, providing forecast and economic trend information for Colorado businesses. Julie attends many events and conferences for the technology and business leaders’ arena.
Julie likes the dabble in other business opportunities as well. She is also a major part of We Speak You Learn, LLC, a technology trainer/author company that provides companies with the technology experts they need for training, article quotes, books, etc.
As a member of the Technology Committee at Challenger Middle School and Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Julie offers insight to help guide the technology education of our future workforce.
Julie received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Phoenix in 2004. She began her college career in 1988 at Purdue University and decided that the 16-year plan worked really well for her.
Julie and her husband David, along with their children Drew and Jacqueline enjoy living and playing in Colorado.
