Julius Wachsmuth

Siemens AG

Certified ScrumMaster

Julius Wachsmuth started directly after finishing school with a voluntary work of 10 months to support elder people within their daily life; already at that time he wanted to help them and make their life better. Afterwards he studied electrotechnical engineering and in parallel successfully finished his vocational training in software development (both within 4.5 years). Always curious about new possibilities he examined the possibilities of smart devices (first generation of programmable iPod touch) within his diploma thesis finished January 2009.

His first work experience within test tool development helped him to understand the importance of testing and early integration. Im May 2010 Julius was one of the first people prototyping a new agile process based on Scrum within his facility and decided to switch from the developer to the Scrum Master role after the prototype finished. He is now working with his third team (second as a Scrum Master) on bringing the agile principles to life.

Julius is a certified Scrum Master and also attended the Certified Scrum Developer trainings of his teams. He is curious in learning new techniques. Currently he strives for the CSP level.
