He gained his Scrum Master skills initially as a team member acting as Scrum Master. Then after gaining his CSM certification he took on the SM role on full time, honing his SM skills by running 2 scrum teams at GE Digital Energy in Cambridge. Becoming a well-known member of the Cambridge Agile community by hosting, presenting and facilitating Agile evening events at the GE offices. These events were open to the Agile community and proved to be popular knowledge sharing and networking sessions.
Looking for a fresh challenge he went on to further his SM career at Thomson Reuters by running the highly successful World Check One product development teams. Using his experience to influence change, implement best practices and re-enforce agile methodologies from the ground up. Jason is now the Agile Delivery Manager for the World Check One product overseeing the full SDLC.

Test Team Leader for the Comms product group. Originally hired to define build and deliver a Test Strategy / Test Framework to enable the automation of product testing for the Geospatial Software Solutions group. I engaged all relevant stakeholders, Test/QA Managers, IT and third parties, to produce requirements and deliver against those commitments in an agile environment. Held regular stakeholder meetings and built key relationships with all. Managed the off shore development of the proprietary Test Automation Framework solution utilising QC/QTP to trigger the automated testing of continuous integration builds. Replicated client environments and utilised a virtual infrastructure to provide the capability to perform automation for system, regression and user acceptance testing. Import, sanitise, replicate and utilise customer data in the automated environment to enable customer scenario testing to reduce customer reported defects. Kept up to date with all technologies to ensure the latest and best methods are available to test/dev groups. Rapidly progressed to the team lead role during the agile transformation working closely with Thoughtworks to implement agile methodologies and performed the scrum master role alongside my roles responsibilities.
