As you can probably already tell, I am a technologist, an agilist, and deeply passionate about information technology projects and the people behind them. I am currently an enterprise Agile transformation and Product Management coach for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as the founder of blink.cloud, LLC, which is a company I formed around an encryption and data communication platform I designed last year. I've been working specifically with Agile software development projects in the federal space for the last six years. Before that, I worked on and off for four years as an auditor for a then family owned supply chain consulting firm while getting my degree in Information Sciences & Technology from Penn State University. I enlisted in the United States Army on December 17th, 2001 as a Signal Support Systems Specialist in aftermath of September 11th. I served honorably and with distinction and was honorably discharged in June of 2006 after serving three consecutive overseas tours. In the past six years, I have been incredibly successful in managing, designing, and building information technology projects. Some of my most notable projects include www.energystar.gov/qpx, data.energystar.gov, www.energystar.gov/productfinder as well as internally facing applications for the VA and consultancy/advisory projects for Sandia National Laboratories, USCIS and USPTO. In the last two years, my focus has been on taking these experiences and success stories and sharing them with others in our industry. Through course instruction, training, workshops and consulting - I believe in the idea that the American public, and by extension, the federal government, have the right to access and use information technology solutions with the same or higher degree of quality and performance than what's standard in the commercial space.
