I am a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) from IIBA and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance.

I am very actively involved with the Agile community within Auckland as a committee member for Agile Auckland (APN). I help Agile Auckland organise workshops with local and international speakers. I have been involved in successfully establishing Agile/Scrum practices in multiple organizations. I am involved in assessment of Agile readiness, developing and executing plan for agile adoption and periodic reviews of successful agile implementation.  

With my recent real-world experience in various roles combined with the ability to drive home complex concepts in an easy to understand manner make me an amazing resource to get any team at any level best focused on project related initiatives. I have successfully delivered change within many diverse environments and been working in agile space since 2008. I am also a regular columnist in the IT Brief Magazine writing about my experiences in Agile and Business Analysis.

While at Telecom, some of my contributions are:

• Ensuring that Agile development within the Online workstream aligns with other workstream and E2E.
• Peer review user stories from the online work streams.
• Ensure user stories are tracked and traced to other requirements and E2E requirments.
• Provide input to the product backlog.
• Manage Governance and templates for gathering requirements in agile methodologies.

While at MYOB, some of my contributions were:
• As a ScrumMaster started and ran daily scrum meeting between NZ, Australia and Kuala Lumpur team, increasing productivity, knowledge sharing resulted in bug free and timely delivery of releases.
• Successfully introduced SCRUM working practices to the development team and management.
• Reduced duplication of QA effort by 20% by running requirement workshops and prototyping.
• Led legislation changes analysis and enhancement requirements for AUS Payroll, NZ Payroll, MyStaffInfo and other Employer Services (HCM) products.
• Implemented business analysis framework and best practices using BABOK.
