John Doyle is an accomplished financial executive with extensive CFO and COO experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds. He has spent the last 40 years as a strategist, organizer, planner and manager with bottom line responsibility. He brings a big picture perspective on all aspects of an organization, from marketing and sales to production and finance.
As Vice President of Finance for Project Management Institute he spearheaded the planning, budgeting, development and monitoring of both Board and Management financial reporting. While at PMI he initiated and managed an organization-wide strategic portfolio and project approval and monitoring process to guide the organization in carrying out the organization’s strategic plan.
As the Institute’s operational footprint grew internationally, he installed new financial reporting to meet increased reporting requirements. He also managed the relationship with the Chinese government to support the PMI credential application process in China. John managed the implementation of an enterprise resource planning system to replace and update systems to manage the membership and certification process for PMI.
As Chief Financial Officer for Biological Abstracts he reengineered the company’s work flow to reduce costs, improve the timeliness and accuracy of the delivery of data. While serving as senior manager at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, he managed the investment portfolio, centralized cash management, instituted a centralized budgeting process and automated financial reporting and processing
John is an honors graduate of St. Joseph’s University and has earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He currently serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of St. Barnabas School a primary school in Philadelphia which provides values based education to inner city students.
