Coached the NCR Software Labs, an advanced development and innovation team, on Lean and Agile product development. Six products were delivered during 2012, increasing the teams throughput to a 300% to 500% range. Members of the coached teams were pulled, together with the products transitioned to engineering, acting as Agile agents in the destination team.

Manage a globally distributed team of expert engineers focused on a strategic area development. Project Management. Responsible for requirements prioritization, interacting with the Product Management and Engineering Directors.
-Turned around the situation in a strategic part of the world’s most used ATM application, troubled due to quality issues.
-Reduced the number of defects reported by the field in 85%, the time to resolve them in 57%, and the percentage over the product total in 16 pp, while simultaneously solving the maintenance issue, coping with the support of the already large installed customer base and delivering new functionalities required to allow the business growth in the area.
-Co-managed the project resulting in the world’s first PCI PA-DSS certification for an ATM application.
-Lead the transformation of a group of skilled professionals into an outstanding team, focused on continuous improvement and quality.

Hired to join the global engineering team. Soon after asked to lead a global team turning around a challenged strategic software project in Brazil.
-Negotiated an acceptable recovery plan with all parties involved.
-Lead a complex multi-national team of 18 people, including customer, local Professional Services and global Engineering personnel, to successful project completion.
-The results of this project were key in creating a reference account worldwide.
-Boosted local team productivity, using agile and coaching by expert engineers.
-Received the global Consulting Excellence award for this project.

-Co-created the Java architecture and framework for multi-vendor self-service applications. Planned and lead a needed re-engineering effort to boost quality and productivity.

-Instrumental in saving a customer $1.5M+, cost of developing and deploying a new version of three different vendor-specific legacy ATM applications needed for Euro deployment.
