Biography

Gerardo is passionate for agile methodologies and an agile evangelist on Central America. Software Engineer with more than 15 years in the IT industry with a PhD on Automated Testing applied to Continuous Integration. Also a Certified Scrum Master and funder of the Guatemala Agile group, he has been coaching different companies in France, the United States and Central America for the last 5 years.

As a trainer, Gerardo has introduced to more than 200 IT professionals into the agile journey in collaboration with two of the biggest Universities of Guatemala and with the first company 100% dedicated to the agile consulting in Guatemala.

As a professional, Gerardo has coached and implemented Scrum with other Continuous Integration technics in the biggest Guatemala’s Bank and a reputable University of Guatemala. Nowadays, Gerardo is the VP of Process and Delivery of an important American IT company in the automotive sector.
