Biography

I’m a deeply committed Director of Product/Software Development and an innovative Agile/Lean practitioner who fully invests himself in making great things happen within organizations and teams. I hold multiple certifications including Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI South Florida Chapter Membership and I’m a long-standing Microsoft Partner with a Silver Application Development Competency.  I have nearly 20 years of broad and deep business, people and information technology experience leading cross-functional and software development teams from 2 to well over 20.  Typically, in high visibility/high responsibility roles, I am a servant leader, providing coaching, tools and techniques to empower business stakeholders at all levels and agile teams to maximize product and business value with greater satisfaction through a sense of belonging, urgency and ownership leading to greater responsibility, autonomy and pride of accomplishment.  I thrive in high-trust, highly transparent, authentic, reciprocal and talented environments.  I cultivate and foster growth and positive change, increase engagement/retention, build and rebuild teams.  I’ve held most roles in the SDLC/PLC and possess both big picture strategic vision and the in-the-bones/boots on the ground business and technology knowledge gained from the field and in the trenches. My background is very strong in product and software development, collaboration, ECM and KM.  My approach is customer focused, consultative, collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial.  I also have a proven track record of success in web development, web marketing, web content management, SEO and SMM. I’m deeply experienced not only with Scrum, Agile, Kanban and Lean with some experience at scale, but also Traditional/Waterfall, modern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps methodologies, frameworks, tools and techniques.
