Dan joined Ingram Content Group in 2012. Since joining Ingram, Dan's team has grown from 5 developers on one team, to 2 teams totaling 14 developers and 2 QA personnel. Dan's Product Systems team is responsible for applications that handle purchasing over 2 Billion dollars of new print books, videos and games for retail outlets around the world, and manages over 100 Million dollars of used textbooks available for rental or purchase through channel partners such as Chegg, Rafter, Valore and others. His Applications Engineering team supports applications that manage library collections both domestic and internationally, as well as supplying books to the entire chain of Costco membership warehouses.
Prior to Ingram Content Group, Dan worked for 6 years at The Rehab Documentation Company, "ReDoc". During his tenure at ReDoc, Dan designed and built the ReDoc 360 Business Intelligence Suite; Real-time data for department directors to assess individual employee productivity and up-to-the-minute revenue numbers, as well as aggregated data spanning multiple years. ReDoc 360 quickly became a key driver to sales in the hospital market. In addition, Dan was recognized as the architect behind the most bug free product release in the history of ReDoc.
A strong advocate for the User Experience, Dan is self-taught in 4 programming languages and has excelled in both technical and management duties. While Dan’s degree is in Audio Engineering, his skills have led him to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and led to the conversion of several teams from Waterfall methodology to Scrum.
