Daniel Simper I have 15 years Software Development Experience, 8 of which where I've been heavily involved in agile change management. My path into agile first started when I realised there had to be something better than the chaos that surrounded me. I championed change and soon came across agile. In a short few years, instigated and oversaw a complete change in the company and moved to a fully functioning agile based company. With the help of a great team, we transformed our environment from an unproductive, finger pointing culture, to a self managing, fun and productive place to be. I have overseen and managed the introduction of agile, XP and Lean practices, physical scrum boards eventually moving to JIRA, continuous integration and build, advanced branching strategies, introduction of QA discipline from the ground up and so on. I've also trained and coach team members from Developers to Board members on agile best practice and it's benefits. I have held the role of Development Manager and Head of Development at several companies now and have since moved away from direct people management. My newest role is now in Canada where I'm working for an awesome company and a great product. From day to day I'm working as a scrum master but working across company to improve processes and consult on process improvement.
