David D. Parker teaches and helps people implement the principles and practices that create more productive and innovative work environments. He has a marketing and community relations background and brings that unique perspective to his coaching and training.
David started his career in Agile in 2009 by helping Mishkin Berteig (CST) launch OpenAgile, an "open source" framework for agile outside of software. He helped publish version 1.0 of the OpenAgile Primer and served as the first Executive Director for the OpenAgile Center for Learning.
When David moved to Silicon Valley in 2010, he worked in marketing and business development for Chris Sims (CST) of Agile Learning Labs. From 2011 to 2015, he supported a large Agile transformation at Autodesk as the coach for twenty-six Scrum teams in Enterprise Applications.
He's a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), a Master of OpenAgile, and a Certified Disciplined Agile Practitioner.
