Doug was introduced to Agile Software development in 2003 when working as a senior developer. He began working in earnest with Agile teams in 2011 and quickly became a strong advocate of the practice during his transition from traditional project manager role to Scrum Product Owner. Doug excelled in the PO role and was promoted to Chief Product Owner to work with an enterprise Scrum team practicing scaled agile. While the majority of his job function was as a PO while at AT&T, he also stepped into the role of ScrumMaster during several months of transition. Since then, Doug has been working as a Agile Coach consultant for multiple clients attempting agile transformation.
