Christine Wells is an Agile Project Manager at the Federation of State Medical Boards. She has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry resulting in an extensive background in leadership, business analysis, project management, and implementation of custom and packaged software solutions.
She began her journey to Agility in 2007 as a team member at a large insurance company as that company transitioned to Agile. She first learned agile principles on the job and interest in the practice led her to take it upon herself to become a Certified ScrumMaster.
In her current role, she wears many hats. As an Agile facilitator, she leads the charge to educate her team on Agile fundamentals and best practices. As an Agile Project Manager, she applies her project management skills to managing the IT portfolio roadmap and prioritization as well as managing product release planning. As a Team Member, she works with internal and external stakeholders and her own team members to put the Agile practices to use to deliver quality products at a sustainable pace.
