Charlie Coe currently serves as Scrum Master for software development projects at Ellucian. Ellucian provides ERP software to colleges and universities around the world. It is best known for its products Banner and Colleague. Charlie has worked as a Scrum Master leading multiple teams as they grow within the scrum process.
Charlie began working as a Scrum Master in 2012 when his department made a decision to move to agile methodology. At that time he became a Certified Scrum Master and began the process of building his first scrum team using his newly acquired skills. Since that time he has been asked to lead numerous teams within his division, helping each to grow within the scrum methodology.
Prior to becoming a Scrum Master, Charlie worked as a Business Analyst and Project Manager at Ellucian. Before coming to Ellucian, Charlie served as an IT Software Support Specialist and as Director of Admissions at Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
Charlie regularly explains to his teams that Scrum is a road without an end. There is no perfection in scrum. We can only follow the rules of the road and continue to work to get better at what we do.
