Currently B.J. works as a Project Manager for Aristocrat Technologies, Inc.
Prior to Aritocrat, B.J. managed computer programmers as an IT Project Manager for National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec). He interacted with all levels of management in order to establish goals and provide quality, cost-effective, state-of-the-art integrated solutions for the company in the area of facility management systems. B.J. has a broad technical background in Information Technology and Project Management.
B.J. was the Intellectual Property Manager. B.J. developed strategies and managed the execution of plans to transition NSTec technology into commercial products through licensing, as well as the protection of intellectual property.
Prior to NSTec, B.J. was the Director of Marketing and Information Systems for Lee and Associates Commercial Real Estate Services in Las Vegas, Nevada. He compiled quarterly statistical analysis of the demographics and availability of commercial real estate properties for the entire Las Vegas Valley used nationally by banks, investment, and lending organizations.
B.J. has served as an instructor of Information Technology for the Division of Educational Outreach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
As an undergraduate at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, B.J. earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Hotel Administration in 1996 and Management Information Systems 1997. In graduate school he earned an Executive MBA in 2004 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
B.J. has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Technology Professionals (AITP), the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN), and the Project Management Institute of Southern Nevada Chapter (PMI-SNC). He holds certifications from Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
